Enigma 2 MR

EnigmaTV turns your Enigma2 satellite, cable or terrestrial receiver into a native Apple TV experience. Watch live channels, browse a rich TV guide, pause and rewind live TV, play your recordings and manage the receiver – all with the Siri Remote, in a clean interface designed for the big screen.

EnigmaTV works with set-top boxes running Enigma2 with the OpenWebif web interface – the software used by OpenATV, OpenPLi, OpenViX, OpenBH and other popular images on receivers from many manufacturers. Your receiver stays the tuner; Apple TV becomes the screen in any room.

LIVE TV
• Streams channels directly from your receiver over your home network
• Channel up/down with a preview of the previous and next channel
• Info overlay with the current and next programme and its progress
• Choose audio tracks and DVB/teletext subtitles

TIMESHIFT
• Pause live TV and continue where you left off
• Jump back within the buffer and return to live with one swipe
• The buffer is kept on Apple TV, so your receiver stays free

TV GUIDE
• Your bouquets and channels exactly as configured on the receiver
• What is on now on every channel, with artwork from TMDB
• Programme details and the full schedule of each channel
• Schedule recordings from the guide

RECORDINGS
• Browse recordings and scheduled timers stored on the receiver
• Play recordings on Apple TV
• Delete recordings and timers

RECEIVER AT A GLANCE
• Automatic discovery of receivers on your network – no IP addresses to type
• Receiver status: model, software, signal strength, standby state
• Standby, wake-up, sleep timer, restart and reboot
• Important settings such as recording margins, streaming options and time zone – plus access to all settings sections the receiver exposes

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
EnigmaTV talks directly to your receiver on your local network. There is no account, no cloud service in between and no tracking.

REQUIREMENTS
• A receiver running Enigma2 with OpenWebif (included in most current images)
• The receiver and Apple TV on the same local network – a wired connection is recommended for the receiver
• An active subscription or free-to-air reception for the channels you want to watch – EnigmaTV does not provide any TV content
